The Southern Electronics Show returns to Thorpe Park on 7th and 8th February 2007 for the ninth consecutive year
Show organiser European Trade Exhibition Services reports record levels of visitor and exhibitor interest being shown in the forthcoming Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Show. With over 400 high-calibre exhibitors and attractions already confirmed, it's not hard to see why 5000-plus visitors are expected at the shows, to be held at Surrey's Thorpe Park on 7th and 8th February 2007.
A wealth of attractions, such as the ever-popular free technical seminar programmes, technology trails and machinery centres, make a compelling case for attendance.
But the most compelling reason of all is that, over its nine-year history, the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Show has earned a reputation as a place where business is done: 'The reason for the show's success over so many years', says Exhibition Director Phil Valentine: 'is its continued focus on delivering the best value for money for exhibitors, while offering a highly convenient venue for visitors, and there's no doubt that the visitors appreciate the door-step attention'.
'No other event can offer such a solid campaign of marketing and promotion, and such a proven track record of achieving real sales success for its exhibitors'.
Valentine continues: 'The majority of our exhibitors have been with us for five or more years'.
'There can be no better endorsement of the event than that'.

Electronics events join local manufacturing shows
European Trade and Exhibition Services is to organise a series of "value for money" events designed to satisfy the needs of the electronics manufacturing sector
The 2007 show will see a further range of developments designed to keep pace with the needs of exhibitors.
'We recognise that the only measure of success for an exhibitor is the one they can see on their bottom line', says Valentine.
'We have purposefully stayed away from gimmicks and fads to concentrate solely on those innovations that will provide a real benefit to our exhibitors'.
A new live Electrical and Motion Engineering Centre joins the popular Machinery Centre, giving OEMs and machinery manufacturers the chance to show their products as if they were in action on the factory floor.
A Subcontracting Village, Test and Measurement Centre and Plant, Storage and Handling feature further concentrate engineering services into one area, making it much easier for visitors to find the companies they need.
As in previous years, Technology Trails enable visitors from the aerospace and defence, autosport/automotive, electronics, packaging, marine and pharmabio sectors to easily locate relevant exhibitors and so make the most efficient use of their time at the show.
Exhibitors have the opportunity to list their products and services on the official show website, free of charge.
This unique product sourcing service allows visitors to search company profiles in advance of the show, and for up to three months afterwards.
Further enhancements to this service will be announced in January in the run-up to the show.
The Southern Show also offers exhibitors free access to its online press office service that allows exhibitors to post not only press releases, but also sales brochures, images, presentations into a private electronic press pack, viewable only by bone fide editors and journalists from over 130 of the UK's key industrial publications.
Entry to the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Show is free, with easy road access via junctions 11 or 13 of the M25, free parking and frequent courtesy coach transfers from Staines railway station.
Visitor preregistration for the event and seminars is available online.
