Rated at 100W over the band 0.8-4.2GHz, the Model BBS3Q7EK0 microwave power amplifier is ideal for RF immunity testing, power device testing and general laboratory use.
Robust design techniques give the ability to withstand 100% reflected power indefinitely, allowing continued use under high VSWR conditions, and protection from accidental open/short circuits.
With a guaranteed minimum P1dB of 70W, Model BBS3Q7EK0 uses highly linear GaAs FET technology to provide 50dB of gain with a typical IP3 of 60dBm.
Lightweight and with a small form factor, the case design includes detachable front panel brackets allowing easy conversion from rack-mount to benchtop style.
Model BBS3Q7EK0 is one of a series of Empower RF amplifiers covering this particular frequency band.
Other output power levels include 8, 15, 25 and 50W.
All these amplifiers come with front panel gain control as standard and an available touch-screen/remote control option.
Empower RF's recently announced "fast pulse capability" option has fast proprietary circuits that switch the amplifier output devices into "quiet mode" under the control of an external TTL gating signal.
