Enventure Technologies has signed Europartners to provide distribution and support in Europe for its two different levels of RoHS analysis - RoHS Plus and Green Advantage

Europartners has been involved with the European electronics business sector for over 20 years and is well placed to understand the current issues and challenges faced by all companies in this arena. Europartners is aware of the problems companies are facing, and therefore the goal of the partnership between Enventure and Europartners is to enable Enventure to expand their electronic component engineering services in the European marketplace.

The objective is to assist European companies achieve RoHS compliance.

'It has been estimated that 6 million tonnes of waste electronic and electrical equipment (WEEE) has to be dealt within Europe every year'.

'A failure to efficiently recycle, not only results in a significant loss of raw material resource, but also has an associated impact on the environment in terms of the energy required to mine, produce and transport new raw materials'.

'Furthermore improved treatment of waste would help divert millions of tones of WEEE from landfill', says Aubrey Dunford, Change Specialist at Europartners.

'Through this collaboration with Enventure, we can now offer clients the ability to obtain fast and complete information on RoHS/WEEE compliant components'.

'Enventure has a proven track record in providing engineering services to electronics manufacturing companies in North America and Europe'.

'We provide a range of RoHS compliance solutions which are customised to meet the individual needs of our clients', says Kiran Sivadas, Director - Sales and Marketing, Enventure Technologies.

'We are actively helping the electronics industry in meeting the RoHS deadline of 1st July 2006 which is critical for their business continuity in the EU.

Our partnership with Europartners will allow us to create more value to the companies based in Europe'.

RoHS Plus is designed to take care of basic documentation requirements of the RoHS Directive, and provides manufacturers with material composition information that will help ascertain their product's RoHS compliance status.

It includes deliverables such as: RoHS compliance status; and detailed material information for each of the six banned substances.

Green Advantage is intended for companies that have a WEEE compliance goal, apart from RoHS compliance.

Detailed information is collected on material composition, including restricted/reportable substances as per the WEEE Directive and the Joint Industry Guide (EIA/EICTA/JGPSSI).
