Producer compliance scheme is approved
Environ has received the formal approval documents for its producer compliance scheme from the Environment Agency
'We delighted to have received our formal approval documents from the Environment Agency today', said Dr Aidan Turnbull, Head of WEEE, RoHS and Eco-Design at Environ. The UK WEEE regulations require manufacturers and importers of electrical and electronic equipment to join an approved PCS by 15th March 2007.

Members who already have collection and recycling arrangements can continue to use these, subject to a short audit of these arrangements by Environ.
