Elgar Electronics Corp has appointed Jason Lee as Director of Technology Partnerships.
Lee will be responsible for identifying new products and technologies that complement Elgar's core portfolio.
His extensive international business development experience in Asia and Europe will allow Elgar to reach the best technology partners available.
Elgar is accelerating the pace of innovation by partnering where appropriate to meet the increasingly specialised needs of its customers.
"Jason has a great track record identifying and cultivating relationships with technology companies.
This is an exciting new direction for Elgar.
It opens up a whole new range of product possibilities beyond our organically developed technology", said Joe Budano, Elgar's President and CEO.
"Our customers will benefit by getting more tightly integrated, application specific solutions from Elgar while working with fewer suppliers".
Lee has over 17 years of product marketing and engineering experience working for companies such as KLA-Tencor, Applied Materials and NCR.
He holds a Masters of Management degree from the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and holds a BS in chemical engineering from University of California at Berkeley.
