Some of the world's leading technology companies will be coming together for a one day embedded technology seminar. 'Building the perfect beast' will be a collection of technical presentations discussing the development of electronic systems within vehicles. This event is to be held on 15th November in Cambridge.

Swedish embedded software specialist Enea Embedded Technology will be presenting its EE-Auto software platform that provides a safe and proven operating system for automotive development.

Used in projects ranging from truck braking systems to data logging, Nicklas Gustafson of Enea, will explore the challenges faced by engineers developing for such a demanding market.

Other presentations include Cambridge company NCT providing an insight into the technology that enables in-car communication systems to offer noise and echo free performance - not just in everyday cars but also in the demanding environment of motor racing and emergency vehicles.

'Building the perfect beast is essentially a technical event for technical people'.

'It's a chance for these leading technology vendors to share their most recent technology with embedded developers', said Richard Blackburn, the organiser.

'It is also an important opportunity for embedded engineers to meet face to face with engineers who are working at the leading edge of this type of technology, whether its software development tools, debugging technology, data management or even future voice recognition for in-car systems'.

'I feel sure they'll find this event interesting and productive'.

At 'Building the perfect beast' engineers will get the chance to meet with engineers from Enea, NCT, Arcom, Plextek, Polyhedra, Mathworks, ILogix, XJTAG, iSystems, Lauterbach, Freescale, IPL, LDRA, Artisan Software and Software Acumen.

These companies cover a broad range of technologies that contribute to current automotive development and will be demonstrating their latest products.

This event is free to embedded engineers and technology managers.

Places are limited, so early registration is strongly recommended.
