Motorola, Enea, Metrowerks and SDC Systems have come together to offer engineers the chance to understand the new PowerQuiccIII during a free half-day seminar. This event will take the form of several technical presentations discussing the architecture of the PowerQuiccIII and the benefits it will bring to embedded engineers including RapidIO support. In addition to this there will be presentations regarding development boards, debugging tools, real-time OS support and modelling tools for embedded engineers.
The event will be ideal for engineers working in the datacomms/telecomms sector but will be of value to any engineer seeking to keep abreast of new technology.
"The Embedded Masterclass events have proven to be a great success because they offer engineers the chance to gain important leading edge technical information without being subjected to a sales pitch.
The deal is that we stick to technical information and leave out the corporate and competitive information that often switches engineers off.
This event will be our fifth event and so far they have been a great success, well attended and valued by the audience", said organiser Richard Blackburn of Energi Technical.
Joel White of Enea Embedded Technology added: "Motorola, Metrowerks and Enea have been working closely on the PowerQuiccIII in terms of software support, development hardware and tools over the past year, so this is a chance for us to bring engineers up to date with what we are achieving and what is now possible with the PowerQuiccIII".
The PowerQuiccIII Experience will take place in Reading on 27th April 2004.
