Incorporating the standard IEC320-C14 inlet as the input connector, the GS120 series has 85-264VAC universal input with PFC function and uses an LED indicator to show operating status.

Supplied with an earth ground pin and enclosed by a UL 94V-0 rated plastic case, the Class I units can effectively prevent users from getting electric shocks.

Designed with <0.5W no-load power consumption and up to 91 per cent efficiency, the series is said to offer real energy savings in both standby and active modes.

The GS120 series complies with global regulation for external power supplies, including ErP step 2 (Energy-related Products, 2009/125/EC), Energy Star, Eisa 2007 (Energy Independence and Security Act 2007) of US, and Meps (Minimum Energy Performance Standards) of Australia.

The GS120 series can be supplied with five different output voltages from 12V to 48V.

By using LLC topology, the GS120 series - with only free air convection - can operate from -30C to +45C under full load condition at 230VAC, and up to +70C ambient temperature with the appropriate de-rating.

The Mean Well GS120 series meets all the following global safety and EMC certificates as per TUV, UL, CUL, BSMI, CCC, CB, FCC, and CE.
