The CH Series of PCIbus data acquisition boards combines multi-input data acquisition with built-in memory and a dedicated processor for high-speed accuracy and precision at a new groundbreaking price point for the industry. Using a local digital signal processor, 16Mbyte of onboard memory, and PCIbus mastering, the new CH Series is able to provide glitch-free capture and/or playback of analogue signals of a length limited only by host RAM size, even with a non-real-time PC operating system. This unique design is offered at a price point far below older, processor-based data acquisition products currently on the market.
"Data acquisition users have long been asking for new, innovative designs that provide high-speed acquisition capabilities under Windows at a reasonable price point", said Dan Rittman, President of Exacq Technologies, Inc.
"The arrival of the CH Series provides these users with a superior product, with extensive and industry-standard software, at a price point that enables them to standardise on this platform".
The CH Series uses an onboard, 143MHz, 32bit DSP that allows unprecedented functionality and accuracy for a data acquisition board of this price point.
Dual output analogue channels offer simultaneous 20Msample/s per output or 40Msample/s on a single output, arb/function generation, analogue reconstruction filtering, and 16Mbyte local waveform memory.
Dual-input analogue channels offer simultaneous 20Msample/s per channel or up to 25Msample/s on a single input, 12bit A/D resolution, and 16Mbyte local acquisition memory with 1Hz sample clock resolution.
16 digital I/Os operate synchronously with the analogue I/O.
Two counter/timers are included.
Each CH Series product comes with a full complement of tools, drivers and sample source code.
Exacq Control Center is a complete configuration utility for all Exacq Hardware.
Exacq Bench provides a wealth of measurement tools, including an oscilloscope, spectrum analyser, waveform generator, DC voltage generator, logic analyser, multimeter and a strip chart recorder.
Complete source code for Exacq Bench is included at no charge.
Exacq SDK is a complete software developer's kit with a large library of source code for C++, Visual Basic, LabView, Matlab and TestPoint, and is also included at no charge.
The entire line of Exacq CH Series PCIbus products is available immediately.
List pricing ranges from $1195 to $1545.
