Emco High Voltage Corp has added a 5V input power option for its miniature, precision regulated, CA Series.
This feature will allow many designers with 5V circuits to eliminate the need for a secondary 12 or 24V output power source.
This series offers significant improvements in performance and precision with other added features previously not available in a miniature PCB mountable package, such as ripple as low as 5ppm peak-peak, temperature coefficient of less than 25ppm/C, an onboard precision reference and a precision output voltage monitor.
Other features include: 0 to 100% programmability; very low EMI/RFI emissions; and arc, overload and Short circuit protection all in a miniature shielded case.
Occupying only 1in3 volume and weighing less than 42g, these miniature supplies replace much larger, more expensive power supplies in many applications.
Other new options include an extended operating temperature range of -55 to +70C, and a chassis mount kit that allows for easy prototyping and evaluation.
