Ember customers are now entitled to a free copy of the Frontline Test Equipment FTS4ZB TMIEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee protocol analyser. FTS4ZB is the industry's first comprehensive ZigBee protocol analyser. FTS4ZB air sniffs ZigBee and IEEE 802.15.4 data and decodes the entire ZigBee stack, live and in real-time.

Captured packets are displayed in a variety of formats, from raw binary and hex through detailed, fully decoded, field-by-field descriptions.

Ember customers create air sniffing hardware by downloading special firmware, written by Ember, into one of their Ember development boards.

The FTS4ZB PC software is downloaded from Frontline's website.

The combination of FTS4ZB software and Ember firmware and hardware provides a powerful debug, test, and verification tool that greatly speeds every aspect of the product development cycle.

Venkat Bahl, Ember's Vice President of Marketing commented: 'Ember recognises the need to partner with third-party tool vendors-building a first-rate protocol analyser is a lot of work and rather than take on this task on our own, we turned to Frontline'.

'We know Frontline's reputation and are comfortable that their sniffer will be a good tool for our customers'.

Eric Kaplan, Frontline President, had this to say: 'Being selected by Ember means a lot to Frontline'.

'It reinforces our position as being number one in ZigBee protocol analysis'.
