Compact SBC runs fanless with speedy interfaces

The ECM-5613 is a fanless SBC designed for applications that need fast digital connection, networking and multimedia features. The ECM-5613 is a compact 5.25in single board computer equipped with a Via Eden ESP6000 low-power processor, LCD and LVDS interfaces, AGP 4X 3D graphics, AC97 audio, IEEE1394 FireWire interface and dual 10/100BaseTx Ethernet interfaces. The ESP6000 processor provides powerful performance with low power consumption, and so no fan is required.
The display is powered by the VT8606 integrated Savage4 AGP4X graphics chipset which supports 36bit flat panel and dual-channel LVDS with a frame buffer of up to 32Mbyte.
Additionally, the ECM-5613 is designed with dual PCIbus Realtek 8139C 10/100BaseTx Ethernet controllers.
Combined with AC97 audio, and NTSC/Pal TV output, all the product features makes ECM-5613 the perfect solution for the networking multimedia applications, such as POS, kiosk, thin server, set top box, and other information appliances that require a high speed and highly reliable computing controller.
Also, the ECM-5613 incorporates a Via VT6306 PCI 1394A integrated host controller, and provides three IEEE1394A ports.
The IEEE1394 FireWire interfaces provide high-speed connections between computers and digital devices.
Other impressive features include a built-in 40-pin TFT LCD interface, a CompactFlash socket for type I/ II CompactFlash storage card, four serial COM ports, one parallel port, and a 168-pin DIMM socket allowing for up to 512Mbyte of SDRAM to be installed.
Additional expansions are available through the PC/104 expansion connector or PCI slot.
