DSP Design has released a Linux LaunchPad for its popular AMD Alchemy Au1100 based embedded PDA

The Linux operating system is delivered as part of the "Linux LaunchPad" application development kit. This combines the Aurora processor with a pre-installed Linux operating system, development tools and comprehensive documentation to help designers develop and deploy their applications. The Aurora Linux LaunchPad contains all the elements required to get the application running, allowing customers time to concentrate on their applications.

The credit card size board comes with a rich feature list including 400MHz RISC processor, 10/100 Base-T Ethernet, two USB ports, three serial ports, audio, LCD interface, CompactFlash interface, analogue to digital convertor and much more.
