Retooling boosts connector quality
Deltron Emcon has completed a major retooling programme.
Deltron Emcon has completed a major retooling programme, which has brought about big improvements to the already high quality of both its die-cast DIN line connectors and flanged panel sockets, and XLR audio connectors.
At the same time, the company has developed enhanced bright and black nickel finishes in partnership with its electroplaters, resulting in superior appearance, reflecting an all-round enhancement to product quality.
The company has made these advances while maintaining its stable and competitive price structure and, in the case of fully screened circular DIN connectors, consolidating its market leadership with the most comprehensive range available, which covers all DIN pin configurations.
In addition to the DIN specification, Deltron Emcon offers two ranges of XLR line connectors, one with a metal backshell, which has increased shielding and is ideal for use in hostile environments, and a very competitively priced version with a plastic shell.
As well as the casting and finishing improvements to these components, the grommet moulding has been modified and the cable clamp redesigned to make it more robust.
Commenting on the company's retooling investment, Deltron Emcom Managing Director Bob Davis said: "We constantly strive to offer our customers top quality products at competitive prices, this in turn helps give them an edge in their own market place".
"We confidently expect to see a rapid payback on this latest investment, as customers realise the potential advantages offered as a result of the latest quality improvements to our DIN and XLR connectors".
