Manufacturing facility adds value

A new value added manufacturing facility provides assembly, test, production and fitting of touch screen assemblies to TFT, LCD and single board computer system solutions.

UK based Display Technology and Apollo Display Technologies have opened a value added manufacturing facility for assembly, test, production and fitting of touch screen assemblies to all their TFT, LCD and single board computer (SBC) system solutions. The new facility will allow the two companies to continue their rapid growth and to further improve services and service levels both to existing customers and new prospects that are looking for extra professionalism and reliability while still maintaining a competitive price. Production is carried out for many market sectors including industrial, instrumentation, gaming, vending and retail applications.

Production Manager Clive Blundell commented: 'There is no doubt that this assembly allows us to add significant value to both our customers and our major suppliers such as Optrex, Samsung, LG Philips and others'.
