Available with either green or yellow pixels, the new OSD2401-M04-1 PLED module offers extended operational lifetimes of up to 55kh with 75cd/m2 brightness for the yellow version at 25C. The OSD12864-M04-1 has an active area of 61.41 x 30.69mm, with an overall panel size of 74.0 x 42.0 x 2.2mm.
The display pixels are 0.45mm square and the overall size compares favourably with many standard LCDs of 128x64 pixel resolution.
For ease of integration, the module is available with or without a metal bezel, the addition of the metal bezel offers integrated mounting tabs with only a slight increase in the overall footprint.
To further facilitate the electronic hardware design the TAB driver offers software image rotation, user selectable four-wire serial or 8bit parallel interface together with 4bit greyscale.
The OSD12864-M04-1 is fully RoHS compliant.
It is currently in mass production and samples are available, the display has a starting price under GBP 18.00 for sample quantities.
