DVStation-IP is the latest product from Pixelmetrix which addresses the emerging market for video transport over IP networks. While the DVStation itself has supported IP over MPEG for several years now, more improvements in the Internet and other equipment now mean using an IP transport for television transmission is finally a viable alternative to telecomms leased lines, ATM and satellite circuits. DVStation-IP is a new product from Pixelmetrix which builds on the extensive MPEG and content analysis ability of the original DVStation - except using an IP network as the transport medium.

The new Pixelmetrix DVStation-IP is a new, stand-alone product ideal for anyone involved in the transmission on MPEG-2 data over the Internet or the other IP networks.

This includes: R and D and equipment designers; system test and integration of equipment manufacturers; field trials; and operational monitoring.
