The Components Division of Devlin Electronics offers a fully customised keytop manufacturing service. Many different sizes and shapes are available, including space bars (up to 1 x 10), L-shapes (such as 1.25 x 1.5 x 2); and keytops with LEDs. The Devlin keytops are available with a wide range of fittings to suit many different types of keyswitches.

Additional keyswitch types can be accommodated by simple tooling at moderate cost.

This service may use the high-tech rotating tool principle for two-colour injection moulding or conventional single colours in a variety of materials.

The standard colour range is extensive, but a precise colour matching service is also available together with a comprehensive standard legend library.

Special legends can be tooled inexpensively and quickly and a keytop printing service using sublimation, normal and laser techniques offers great flexibility for the design engineer.

Devlin also manufactures standard and custom keyboards.

Standard keyboards can be semicustomised in many ways, for instance: special colours and individual keytop styles.

Full custom keyboards can be developed from a very large range of existing Devlin designs, which makes them a very cost-effective option, even in relatively low volumes.
