Uninterruptible power supplied
at high efficiency
A new range of uninterruptible power solutions combine very high efficiency (typically greater than 75%) with optimum thermal management
The design incorporates close-tolerance components, resulting in a very stable output voltage, with a typical ripple factor of less than 2% of the rated output voltage. The uninterruptible power units are designed for mounting within the housing of the end product, alongside the electronics.

The uninterruptible power units automatically switch to an external battery source (not supplied) when a low output level is detected.
The design incorporates an enclosed and EMC-screened metal chassis, making the installation within the equipment electronics a straightforward process.
Two power ratings are offered, 55 and 155W, with single and dual output options, and a universal input.
They are short-circuit and overload protected, with an internal charger which continuously charges the external battery.
The output voltages depend on the model, and include 12, 24 and 48V.
Applications will include process control equipment, industrial computers, security, and communications equipment, to name just a few.
