1GHz connectors feature integral ground plane
A new range of high-performance interconnects, featuring an integral ground plane to support applications up to 1GHz, has been added by Delton Roxburgh.
They range from ultraminiature 0.8mm pitch up to 2mm designs.
Ultra-micro-pitch FTE series and 1mm pitch FTMH series interfaces offer designers a choice of right-angle SM headers up to 100 I/Os for high-density designs.
On 1.27mm pitch, both headers and sockets are available to satisfy a variety of applications, including the hot-pluggable HPT series, standard SM and through-hole headers (FTSH series) and the TFM series shrouded headers.
CLP and SFM series right-angle sockets provide mating interfaces on 1.27 and 0.64mm pitch, respectively.
For 2mm pitch designs, the Samtec range encompasses surface-mount (MMT and MMS series) and through-hole (TMM, TMMH and SQT series) headers and sockets for right-angle and parallel board interconnection.
STMM and TMMS series shrouded headers complete the 2mm pitch portfolio.
