Next-day delivery for PCB stencils: News from DEK

DEK has added stencil design and manufacturing capability to its new logistics hub at Memphis, Tennessee, to enhance support for North American customers of its Process Support Products division. The Memphis site, which is located next to the main FedEx centre serving continental USA and offers next day delivery on orders received up to 6pm, also distributes consumables, machine performance upgrades, dedicated tooling and machine spares to all customers in North America. The Memphis hub is comprehensively equipped for stencil design and production, including CAD facilities, 1064nm laser cutting machines and electropolishing.

Richard Bramham, Worldwide General Manager for DEK's Process Support Products division, explained: "By adding stencil manufacturing capability at Memphis, we have enhanced our stencil services for customers throughout North America including Mexico and Costa Rica".

At the same time as adding this extra capability to its Memphis hub, DEK's stencil manufacturing presence in the USA is boosted by local stencil sales offices located throughout South-West and South-Central USA, having acquired stencil specialist Acumen Technology in 2002.

DEK manufactures stencils at a total of 15 closely networked sites worldwide, and expects to quickly grow its share of the US precision stencils market, by delivering a new customer experience in terms of brand leading products, designed by experienced engineering staff, and delivered quickly as part of the total DEK process solution for high-accuracy mass imaging.
