Reference design eases
home powerline networking
DS2 has launched a powerline adapter reference design with a novel built-in power socket that frees up the wall outlet for other appliances
The reference design is targeted at manufacturers of networking equipment for the retail and IPTV operator markets. Among the features that make this the best of breed reference design for high speed powerline networking in the home or office are a one-touch setup to create HDTV-speed home networks for PCs, Macs, Xbox 360s, broadband modems or other devices in seconds and an environmentally friendly standby mode for energy saving when not in use.
