Densitron releases PCTs and technical support

Densitron has launched a range of projected capacitive touch-screens (PCTs).

Densitron's standard ITO PCT sensors match most of its 3.5in and 4.3in TFT and AMOLED displays, which can be supplied with or without PCT sensors.

Industrial-grade 'wired' PCTs that can be mounted behind thick glass, in sizes from 5.7in, are also available.

For design engineers looking to achieve a higher level of product differentiation, Densitron's PCT with custom lens is available.

The dark cover lens overlay achieves a flush bezel and a sleek look.

Company logos can be added and the lens overlay can cover the active area of the sensor, allowing buttons to be emulated on the cover overlay.

Densitron offers a comprehensive technical support package for its PCT range, with touch-screen controllers available with a standard USB or RS232 output, complete with Windows drivers.

The controllers also have a I2C output; for engineers who want to write their own drivers, guidance notes are available to help them generate a Linux driver for their particular kernel.
