By adding Silverback display enhancement facility to its popular DV5520 LCD, Densitron can now offer a 132 x 64 dot graphics display with a very high contrast ratio of 15:1, making it probably the highest contrast monochrome display available. This off-the-shelf COG display benefits from a compact 55.0 x 42.0 x 5.0mm mechanical structure and is offered with an integrated yellow-green LED backlight for use in low light ambient conditions. Driven by a NT7532 I/C, the display offers 8580bit of RAM capacity, 8bit parallel bus interface, and a multitude of functions including 64-step software contrast adjustment, reverse display, segment driver direction, and power save.
The tiny pixel size of 0.28 x 0.35mm coupled with the paper-white background and excellent contrast, makes the DV5520 ideal for portable devices, handheld consumer applications and medical equipment.
