Resolver to digital convertor for budget accuracy

The low-cost monolithic RD-19230FX resolver-to-digital convertor features an accuracy of 1arc-min - higher than that available from any comparable product.
Resolver-to-digital convertors take analogue AC inputs from resolvers, which are rugged angular transducers, and convert them to digital angular format.
"Today's motion control engineers require higher accuracy convertors to improve efficiency and meet tighter tolerances", says Jack Redus, Marketing Manager for DDC's Motion Control Product Line.
The RD-19230FX also provides features such as programmable 10, 12, 14 and 16bit resolution, dual bandwidth and tracking rates, +5V only input power, internal synthesised reference, and A quad B encoder emulation.
Typical applications include motor control, radar antenna position, machine tool control, robotics and process control.
The RD-19230FX is available with operating temperature ranges of -40 to +85C (RD-19230FX-205) and 0 to 70C (RD-19230FX-305).
The RD-19230FX is housed in a 10 x 10mm, 64-pin, plastic quad flatpack.
