Joint venture supports UK embedded market: News from Datasound Laboratories

A new venture between a leading UK embedded computing company and a major Taiwanese designer and manufacturer will result in a new range of specialised embedded computing products, including military grade PC104 modules, being readily available and supported in the UK. ICOP Technology , the result of a partnership between Hertfordshire based Datasound Laboratories (DSL) and ICOP Technology (TW) will employ the sales and technical support skills of DSL, and provide buffer stock to provide rapid response to sample requests through ICOP Technology (TW)'s rapidly expanding European distribution network. The importance of good supply chain management and the provision of high quality local support were uppermost in ICOP's list of requirements for distributor and reseller feed, direct sales and second line technical support within the UK.
