Fleischer takes on Japan for Cypress
David D Fleischer is the new head of Cypress Japan
Fleischer is currently Cypress's vice president of Asia Pacific operations, based in Singapore. In addition to Asia Pacific, he will assume responsibility for the potentially lucrative Japanese market as Mitsuo Ohtsuka, the current head of Japanese operations, retires at the end of the first quarter of 2002.

Fleischer has held progressive positions in Cypress's Asia Pacific operations, starting as area sales manager in 1992 and becoming Asia Pacific vice president in 1997.
He developed and implemented Cypress's first penetration strategy into the Asia Pacific market and has managed its growth to over 20% of the company's sales.
He has direct responsibility for the company's network of direct sales, applications, sales representatives and distributors.
Prior to his position in Asia, Fleischer held management and sales positions for Cypress in the Europe, Israel and the United States.
He graduated cum laude with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University.
