Circuit Assembly has added a new Serial ATA host signal plug to its Serial ATA product family. The new host signal plug is designed to connect the backplane/motherboard (host) to the signal plug connector on the storage device(s), via a Serial ATA cable assembly. Designed to succeed the parallel Ultra ATA physical storage interface, Serial ATA connectors and cable assemblies are used for the storage interface of desktop PCs, mobile PCs, set-top boxes, entry servers, as well as networked storage devices.

Circuit Assembly has devoted vast time, energy, and resources to advance its ongoing Serial ATA interconnect development and is committed to deliver superior products with competitive pricing.

In addition to the newly introduced Serial ATA host signal plug, other products in the CA Serial ATA product family include Serial ATA cable assemblies (available using straight and right angle cable exits), Serial ATA device connectors (unitised plug and unitised legacy device plug), and Serial ATA unitised backplane socket connectors.
