Medical PSU specialist Condor has released a new generation of cost effective, compact (50 x 100 x 24mm) single output power supplies. Called the GNT60 Series, the supplies are designed as lead free products and are available with 12,15, 24 or 28V outputs. Complementing the recently released GNT30 (30W) Series, the GNT60 supplies produce 60W of power (70W for 60s), from a wide 90 to 264V AC input range without the need for any minimum load.

Units are designed to achieve full performance between 0 and 50C with derating to 70C and efficiencies are high with some models close to 90% efficient.

Hold-up from loss of the AC input at 120V AC is 16ms.

Leakage current is a low 40uA under normal operation, rising to 80uA under single fault conditions.

GNT60 series have safety agency medical approvals including EN60601-1, UL2601, CSA22.2 No 601,1-M90 and IEC601-1.

The units are fitted with an input fuse between line and neutral designed to blow in the event of catastrophic failure, and additionally have short circuit, overvoltage and overload protection.
