The CPQ400 is a novel hot-swap Compact PCI power system from Condor DC Power based on two of the company's established products - the AC-input CPCI204 or the DC-input DPCI204. Designed to provide an alternative mounting configuration to the traditional plug-in Compact PCI power supply format, the new system consists of two power supplies enclosed with a cooling fan in a case measuring just 166 x 97 x 128mm. As a result, systems designers are able to maximise the number of "revenue" slots by relocating the power supply elsewhere in the cabinet while retaining the electrical characteristics of conventional units.

The CPQ400 can be used in parallel to provide 400W of output power, or as a 200W N+1 redundant power system.

An optional interface board brings the output and input connectors to convenient screw terminals and Molex-type connectors.

Input may be either 90 to 264V AC with power factor correction, or 36 to 72V DC.

Outputs follow normal Compact PCI conventions - 5, 3.3, 12 and -12V.
