Scarisbrick takes Cambridge position
John Scarisbrick is the new Chairman of Cambridge Positioning Systems
He takes over the role from John Peett CBE, a cofounder of Vodafone Group, who is retiring from the post he has held since March 1999. During his tenure, he oversaw the company's growth from an academic startup to a major industry player with partnerships with many of the world's leading wireless equipment vendors.

He remains an important investor in the company.
Scarisbrick has over 30 years experience in global technology businesses.
He spent 25 years at Texas Instruments in France, the USA and the UK, where he was most recently Senior Vice President responsible for its $5 billion ASP business, which included a range of wireless, broadband and other technology interests worldwide.
