A range of dedicated training courses is available for electronics specialists involved in production line, type approval or design engineering testing applications.

Electrical safety testing specialist Clare Instruments has developed a range of dedicated training courses for electronics specialists involved in production line, type approval or design engineering testing applications.

The courses combine practical and theoretical advice with a technical focus and safety guidance from fully qualified and experienced Clare engineers.

The course content includes instruction on maintaining safety standards in the testing environment, including a review of the requirements of EN50191.

It is intended for all organisations that use voltages over 50V AC in their manufacturing, service or test development facilities.

The course considers the different test regimes and highlights the type of equipment required and the precautions that need to be taken to fulfil health and safety procedures.

Other courses are designed to maximise the effectiveness of safety procedures while enhancing productivity.

The Clare courses are suitable for electronics designers and test engineers, production supervisors and technicians and any individuals who have the responsibility for electrical safety or who may work in potentially hazardous situations.

The training courses are provided at group facilities in County Durham and West Sussex.

Alternatively special on-site programmes can be organised for those companies or test organisations that wish to involve higher numbers of staff.
