MINT T2110 is the official radio conformance set-up for WiMAX certification of IEEE802.16-2004 and ETSI HiperMAN devices.
Based on Cetecom technology and a set of standard test equipment, the MINT T2110 covers the transmitter and receiver test cases for basestations and subscriber stations according to the WiMAX CS 103 001 test specification.
Some of the key features of MINT T2110 are the full coverage of test cases for WiMAX certification in the five profiles defined by the WiMAX Forum in 3.5 and 5.8GHz radio frequency spectrum, the use of Cetecom Test Manager to automate the testing process and its upgradeability to Mobile WiMAX.

Cetecom also is developing its MINT T2230 protocol conformance tester for Mobile WiMAX testing, according to the IEEE802.16e-2005 standard.
The architecture is based on Cetecom's dynamically reconfigurable wireless signalling unit, built with picoChip's PC102 hardware, which allows scalability, software reconfigurability and provides hardware engines for correlation and path calculation.
The MINT T2230 will include the official TTCN code delivered by ETSI for certification and Cetecom will combine R and D efforts with Aeroflex.
Using the same architecture, the MINT T2240 is a protocol analyser tool (sniffer) suitable to debug, test and verify the development of the 802.16e-2005 protocol, which provides capturing, decoding, filtering and displaying features.
Both the MINT 2230 and 2240 will be released later on this year.
Andres Moreno, Telecommunications Director at Cetecom Spain, said: 'We are very proud to announce the first platform for WiMAX RF testing'.
'Radio testing for WiMAX is complex, and the designation of MINT T2110 as the official test system for WiMAX Forum Certified testing provides our customers an unrivalled test environment for R and D, precertification and final certification testing'.
'This product completes Cetecom's portfolio of conformance test solutions for wireless technologies, including 2G/3G, Bluetooth and RFID'.
