In recent years Cetecom Spain has evolved into a specialist in developing and manufacturing test equipment for different communications technologies, whereas the portfolio of the Cetecom network is focused on consulting, testing, certification and international approval handling for mobile communications products.
Unlike all other Cetecom companies worldwide, the Spanish company has always had a special position, since it has been the only company where neither Cetecom GmbH nor its parent company RWTUV have been either sole or principal shareholders.
The principal shareholder has, up to now, been a company of the state/regional government of Andalusia, which holds 51%.
RWTUV AG has held the remaining 49%, which have now been taken over by two Spanish investors.
Apart from Cetecom Spain, with locations in Malaga, Madrid and Sevilla, all Cetecom test centres, offices, agencies and representatives are responsible to Cetecom GmbH in Essen (Germany) which is the headquarters of the international Cetecom network and the sole or principal shareholder of all other Cetecom companies worldwide.
Cetecom Spain has its own management, which is completely independent from the headquarters in Germany and any other Cetecom company.
