Cetecom Spain has been helping Logitech Europe to qualify and approve a new range of Bluetooth products

Cetecom Spain has been helping Logitech Europe to qualify and approve its products. Recently Cetecom Spain completed testing of Logitech Cordless Desktop MX for Bluetooth, Logitech MX900 Bluetooth Optical Mouse and Logitech DiNovo Media Desktop. This suite of new products includes a family of Bluetooth enabled keyboards, a Bluetooth enabled MediaPad, and a Bluetooth enabled mouse with a and a family of Bluetooth hub enabled transceivers.

In addition to Bluetooth qualification and interoperability testing, Cetecom Spain has also carried out the mandatory EMC and radio testing and managed all the regulatory processes to gain the approval for these products in the EU, USA and Canada.

One of the most attractive features of the Logitech products is that they include a Bluetooth wireless hub, which allows mobile devices such as PDAs and mobile phones to communicate with the PC using Bluetooth.

As a result, users not only get high-performance cordless mice and keyboards, but a new way to connect their mobile products with their PC without cables.

Cetecom's Mario Tanco is one of the most experienced BQBs worldwide.

He says: "The appearance of Logitech's Bluetooth enabled products represents a step forward in the Bluetooth industry.

They use Bluetooth technology to bring new user benefits, and do this in a way which overcomes some of the previous limitations in these type of devices.

Logitech's approach is a clear example of how Bluetooth technology is advancing.

We are very pleased to work with this technology leader".

Francesco Spina, PQA Manager at Logitech Europe adds: "The development and launch of the Bluetooth enabled products was a complex and significant project for Logitech.

Cetecom Spain showed themselves to be a very good partner throughout this process.

We appreciate their support and professionalism".
