The CPCSD1-15L is an ultralight 1U rack-mount keyboard/LCD drawer. Designed and manufactured in the USA, this keyboard drawer was designed for the rugged mobile computer market for installation in 19in rack transport cases. The CPCSD1-15L weighs only 8.9kg, a full 230g lighter than the nearest competing display.

Incredibly rugged and well designed, the CPCSD1-15L is built to survive the rigors of mobile computing.

Compatible with a variety of portable cases such at those from Hartig or Zero, the advantage of the CPCSD1-15L is its light weight.

Specifications for portable systems are most often very strict for total system weight.

Intended markets are military, field data acquisition and logging, and similar system killing environments.

The 15in TFT display provides 1024 x 768 resolution with a contrast ratio of 150:1 and a brightness of 200cd/m2.

An optional touch screen is available.

Contrast filters can be installed for enhanced daylight visibility.

The full-travel high-quality keyboard provides 83 keys.

An included Synaptics touch pad pointing device eliminates the problems seen with track balls and mice in harsh environments.

The keyboard and track pad are available with conventional circular DIN connectors or in a USB version.

The CPCSD1-15L can be used stand alone or connected with a KVM to control up to 512 computers from this one keyboard and despair.

It is compatible with both Intel/Microsoft and Sun systems.
