C and D Technologies' Power Electronics Division has marked a major milestone in China by celebrating the ten-year anniversary of its Guangzhou-based manufacturing operation. Based in the major industrial centre of the Guangdong province, C and D Guangzhou opened in 1994 to undertake the high-volume manufacture of DC/DC convertors and magnetic components for power applications. The wholly owned ISO9001:2000-certified facility now manufactures around six million components per year.

Discussing the ten-year anniversary, Brian Crowe, Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for C and D's Power Electronics Division, comments: "Celebrating ten years of manufacturing operations in China is a significant achievement, especially when you consider that many global companies are only now beginning to realise the opportunities that the country offers".

"Everybody at the Guangzhou facility can be justifiably proud of this achievement, and the critical role that they have played in contributing to the leading position that C and D now enjoys in the power electronics market".
