Combining high current handling capabilities with low DC resistance, the latest power inductors from Newport Components are compact SMT devices that can be supplied with an integral ferrite shield for applications where EMI is a critical factor. The 2400 and 2600 series of bobbin wound inductors are ideal as storage chokes in DC/DC convertor designs and are compatible with a number of industry-leading chipsets.
