Kristine Overlaur, Technical Marketing Manager, North America, for CSR has also been appointed to Chair of the Marketing Committee at the SIG.
As the leading provider of Bluetooth technology, with a design share of over 60% and a volume share of almost 50%, CSR has an important role to play at the SIG.
Robin Heydon is a technical consultant for CSR and, in his position on many technical committees at the SIG, has played a driving role in the continued development of the Bluetooth standard.
The BARB is the highest technical committee within the Bluetooth SIG and the appointment of Heydon as its Chairman reflects the contribution Robin and CSR have made to the development of the Bluetooth specification.
Heydon is a regular speaker at Bluetooth technology seminars around the world and is currently based in the R and D group at CSR's headquarters in Cambridge, UK.
Prior to his employment at CSR, Heydon worked in the computer gaming and toy industry.
He graduated from Manchester University in the UK and holds an honours degree in computer science.

The Bluetooth SIG Marketing Committee decides plans and activities that promote Bluetooth wireless technology, the Bluetooth brand, the Bluetooth specification, the Bluetooth qualification programme and membership in the Bluetooth SIG.
These activities include, but are not limited to, public relations, promotion of interoperability forums, development of conferences and other similar activities and functions, development of marketing strategy and contribution to Bluetooth technology roadmaps.
Prior to joining CSR, Overlaur worked at Dallas Semiconductor and Texas instruments as a Chip Design Engineer and Systems Architect Engineer, respectively.
She graduated from San Diego State University with her masters in electrical engineering.
