A new line of laser-markable labels is designed for use in demanding environments
Brady has a new line of laser-markable labels designed for use in demanding environments. The B-8010 and B-8012 labels provide long-term identification of products in the automotive and electronic industries, for applications such as rating plates and product identification. These versatile labels are designed to be engraved by either CO2 or YAG laser beams to create graphic, text or barcode designs that do not require a tamper evident feature.

B-8010 and B-8012 are differentiated by colour, the B-8010 having a black top-coat and white polyester midsection, and the B-8012 having a white top-coat and a black polyester midsection.
Both label options feature pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive for effective attachment.
The rugged design of the labels is provided by a unique coating that is temperature, solvent, oil and abrasion resistant.
Some typical uses for the labels are for automotive assembly and components manufacturing, mobile device batteries, PCBA and multimedia cards.
B-8010 and B8012 are available now in custom sizes with supporting materials that include data sheets, a briefing form and a sell sheet.
