Italian UPS systems come to the UK
Borri UK will offer the full range of Borri systems, from 1 to 10kVA single-phase and 10 to 650kVA three-phase for both IT and industrial applications.
One of the world's most respected manufacturers of uninterruptible power systems (UPSs) is now represented in the UK following the setting up of Borri UK, an exclusive distributor of Borri products.
Nottingham based Borri UK has a nationwide team of sales and factory-trained technical personnel who will focus on providing resellers and end users with first-rate customer support.
In reality Borri has never been away from the UK as its products were sold under the brand name of its former owner, the US based Eaton Powerware.
Under a management buy out in 2005, Borri was returned to its former owners who have since focused on building the Borri brand with product enhancement and through geographic scope.
Borri has 75 years experience and thousands of uninterruptible power systems installed worldwide.
The company's products cover the entire power logistics' chain from production to consumption and offer cost-effective solutions for both AC and DC power systems that have been proven in the hardest operating environments.
"When we saw the opportunity to be involved with such a prestigious name in the UPS industry, it was a challenge we could not resist", says Ian Spencer, Managing Director of Borri UK.
"The energy business requires cutting edge technology, both in equipment and control functions, which is more than met by Borri's technically advanced, reliable and robust products".
Borri UK will be offering the full spectrum of Borri products.
Systems will range from 1 to 10kVA single phase and 10 to 650kVA three-phase for both IT and industrial applications.
In addition the company will also be marketing a range of static switches, industrial UPSs, inverters and rectifiers suitable for oil and gas/petrochemical, utilities and power plant, transportation and process industries.
According to Fausto Beoni, Managing Director of Borri: "We are pleased to offer local engineering and sales support to the UK's power quality market".
"The UK's energy marketplace remains the most competitive in the EU and we believe the UK's UPS market represents an exciting challenge and a great opportunity for us".
"Having UK distribution will provide customers with quality and unmatched local support".
"It clearly underlines Borri's strategic focus to expand our power quality business globally".
"We are committed to supplying high-quality products and working with the leaders in the UK market to deliver complete solutions".
