The SRS PS300 power supplies are arc and short-circuit protected with separate programmable hard and soft current limits, making it possible to use them as constant current sources.

The SRS PS300 series of high-voltage power supplies, sold in the UK by TTi, has been extended to include 10 and 20kV models for both positive and negative polarity.

These four new single-output models each have a power rating of 10W.

The full PS300 range also includes 25W dual-output models which cover from +/-1.25 to +/-5 kV.

All models are housed in a compact half-rack case suitable for bench or rack mounting.

All the instruments are arc and short-circuit protected with separate programmable hard and soft current limits, making it possible to use them as constant current sources.

All models offer 1V resolution along with 0.05% accuracy, 0.001% regulation and 0.0015% ripple.

For local control applications, up to nine instrument configurations can be stored and recalled at any time, making it easy to run multiple tests.

Both GPIB and RS-232 computer interfaces are standard on the new 10W supplies.

GPIB is available as an option on the 25W instruments.

All parameters can be set and read via the computer interfaces.

A rear-panel analogue input allows the high-voltage output to be programmed by a 0 to 10V DC signal.

Two rear-panel analogue outputs provide output voltage and current monitoring capabilities.
