The Tabor 8021, now available in the UK from TTi (Thurlby Thandar Instruments), is a high-performance pulse/function generator which produces a wide range of waveforms including sine, triangle, square, positive pulse, negative pulse, pulse complements, positive ramp, negative ramp and TTL pulse (sync out). Waveforms can be produced to a maximum frequency of 20MHz. Pulsewidth and ramp-width ranges are controllable over a wide range from 25ns to 99.9s.
Sweep capabilities include a built-in independent sweep generator with a range of ten decades and eight built-in sweep modes with a choice of linear or logarithmic scale with a programmable sweep marker.
Closed-loop monitoring of the output frequency enhances the basic frequency accuracy to 0.1%.
For production or system test environments, a full 'talker/listener' GPIB interface is available.
The 8021 generator costs GBP 1350.
