The new DDDA data acquisition software from Stanford Research Systems, now available exclusively in the UK from TTi (Thurlby Thandar Instruments), simplifies the control and plotting of data from all RS232 and GPIB instruments using Windows 95/98 and NT. No programming expertise is needed. The software has been designed to reduce the time required to produce simple programs that require tabular or graphical display of acquired data.

Data can be displayed in multiple formats.

The data can also be saved in formats including ASCII and MATLAB, making for easy exchange of data with other data analysis programs.

SRS products are widely used by university research groups, and DDDA has been developed to help inexperienced research students and engineers to quickly develop data acquisition programs using a variety of manufacturers' instruments.

Full 'getting started' tutorials and several sample instrument setup files are included to help users to quickly incorporate the selected instrument.

The integrated debugger and extensive help menus assist in reducing the complexity of GPIB and RS232 programming.

A 30-day free trial copy of DDDA can be obtained by contacting TTi.

DDDA is priced at only GBP 150 (plus VAT).
