Birdstep Technology has announced the launch of RDM Server 6.1. It has been created to make it easier to use RDM Servers, and to reduce the users time-to-market. The new features included in RDM Server 6.1 are increased interoperability with the addition of an ADO.Net driver and PHP driver, improved and concise documentation, more user-friendly administration and database utilities, and an increased level of SQL support.

The company says that it listened to its customers, and added specific enhancements to RDM Server 6.1 to meet those requests.

'Birdstep Technology exists to meet our customers needs and provide them with a tailored embedded database solution,' said Duncan Bates, Product Manager.

'The market wants intuitive, user-friendly embedded databases that follow the latest industry standards'.

'RDM Server 6.1 does just that by adding support for ADO.Net, PHP, and user-friendly development and administration tools'.
