Spaces are still available at the British Electrostatic Control Association's (BECA) seminar, 28th April 2004, at The Marwell Hotel (opposite Marwell Zoo), Thompsons Lane, Colden Common, Winchester, Hampshire. The theme for the seminar is working with BS EN61340-5-1:2001; BS IEC61340-5-1 and 2, which have been adopted as European (EN) standards for the implementation of ESD measures in electronics manufacturing, and are now well established as practical working tools. The event will provide an opportunity for those experienced in this field to update their knowledge of electrostatic discharge (ESD) prevention using the Standard and will help newcomers to gain an understanding of the subject.
The seminar will focus on the key requirements under the standard and provide practical guidance on the assessment of existing facilities, including demonstrations of test methods and auditing techniques.
The basic cost is GBP 165 (plus VAT) per delegate (with discounts for group bookings), to include delegate pack, refreshments and buffet lunch.
Booking reservations can be made via the BECA website.
