Nightingale strengthens European customer support
Beach Solutions has appointed Duncan Nightingale as its European Strategic Accounts Manager.
Beach Solutions has appointed Duncan Nightingale as its European Strategic Accounts Manager.
The appointment, made in response to recent expansion in Beach's portfolio of key accounts, will see Nightingale further develop relationships with its major accounts and direct the company's new business drive in Europe.
Nightingale, who will have primary responsibility for supporting customers in their deployment and implementation of Beach's innovative Easi-Tools product suite and schema related technology and will be based at Beach's European headquarters in Theale, Berkshire.
Beach has seen a significant increase in interest in its products by those manufacturers seeking to address the growing integration challenges of complex system on chip designs.
Easi-Tools rigorously validates and maintains functional interface specifications of IP blocks and systems captured in XML databases.
It also automatically generates design interfaces and documentation for use by all engineers involved in the development of an SoC project.
"Over recent months we have seen a considerable rise in market interest for our tools due to an increased recognition of the value of schema technology in SoC design.
Not only are we winning new accounts, but existing customers are also asking that we further integrate into their design processes.
Therefore, to give our customers the support they deserve and demand, we turned to Duncan as he has a magnificent track record in delivering value to customers for a number of high profile EDA companies", explains Terry McCloskey, Chief Executive Officer, Beach Solutions.

Prior to joining Beach, Nightingale, who has over 10 years' management experience in the EDA sector, worked for companies including Verisity, Avanti, Analogy, Vantage and LSI Logic.
He holds a BSc (Hons) in engineering science and a Masters degree in VLSI design and management studies from Durham University.
