AVX recertifies products facility to AS9100

AVX Corporation, a manufacturer of advanced passive components and interconnect solutions, has recertified its products facility in Olean, NY, to AS9100, the international aerospace quality standard.
AVX supplies switch-mode power supply (SMPS) stacked capacitors to the space, avionic and military industries, and maintains the largest profile of QPL items and approvals for the SMPS market.
The parts are suited for filtering capacitors on the input and output of power supplies or as snubber capacitors.
