Arrow tops Europe for Tyco
Arrow has been named distributor of the year by Tyco Electronics
The award, which covers the whole of Europe, is judged on a number of criteria including sales growth, the number and value of new projects developed and a distributor's ability to provide superior service. Arrow's success is built on its management of a large number of passive, electromechanical and connector (PEMCO) lines; the company carries more Tyco brands than any other distributor.

Receiving the award, Gitte Hammeken, Connectors Marketing Manager, Arrow Northern Europe, said: "Tyco Electronics is the world's largest PEMCO supplier and this is a very satisfying recognition of Arrow's sustained effort across its broad portfolio.
Our close co-operation with Tyco has borne fruit for us with this award and for our customers in the service they have received".
Gerry Lawrenz, Distribution Director EMEA for Tyco Electronics, commented: "Arrow has demonstrated solid growth, outpacing other global or regionally deployed distributors.
We are particularly pleased with its development of new business and the number of registered projects.
Arrow has tremendous market penetration and sales coverage, enabling it to optimally service customers logistically and technically.
Arrow also carries by far the largest inventory within its respective regions".
