Continuing with its strategy to strengthen its regional presence, Arrow Electronics has established a new regional business centre to support OEM and CEM customers in South West England

Continuing with its strategy to strengthen its regional presence, Arrow Electronics has established a new regional business centre located at the Motion Media Technology Centre, Bristol. The regional business centre will focus on supporting OEM and CEM customers in the South West. The centre was officially opened by Brian McNally, managing director of Arrow Northern Europe, and was attended by many of Arrow's customers.

Arrow's senior management team were also present and guests were able to meet with Arrow specialists from the company's PEMCO (passive, e-mech and connectors), Design Solutions and Display business units.

The new business centre will house a team of customer-assigned internal and external field account managers, who will deal with sales enquiries and regional customer service.

Paul Lauder is the centre manager, and will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the office.

Commenting on the centre opening, Chris McAneny, Arrow's Marketing Director, Northern Europe said: "Our customer service-led, 'think global, act local' approach that we have been investing in across the UK has been very successful and we have had good support from our suppliers.

The Bristol regional business centre will offer the entire Arrow franchised line card to its customers at a local level and is the latest addition to a number of operations in areas which include Crawley, Bedford, Harlow, Manchester, Reading, Ireland and Scotland".
